MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or better in Finance.
  • Experience in analyzing financial data for use by the organization.
  • Must be able to extract, interpret data and present in a useful and meaningful way. Experience in analyzing and advising on budgeting and financial performance and presenting material to non-financial users.

General Summary:
The Financial Analyst reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for the maintenance of the KaufmanHall Budgeting, Reporting, Cost Accounting, and Decision Support Platforms, LaborLytics productivity platform, monthly statistical reports, direct involvement in the annual operating budget process, direct involvement in refreshing annual procedure and supply prices.
This position will interact with all levels of the organization to ensure a quality understanding of the financial report in process and how to use related data to impact operational performance. In addition, this position will complete special projects and cost/benefit analysis to assist in business planning.
Essential Functions:
- Daily Maintenance of KaufmanHall Budgeting, Reporting, Cost Accounting, and Decision Support (PLM) platform.
- Daily maintenance of Laborlytics Productivity platform.
- Weekly reconciliation of GL/Payroll to Decision Support (PLM) and LaborLytics platforms.
- Financial Liaison to department leaders.
- Distribute monthly Cerner reports.
- Complete data request for department leaders out of PLM/KH/Cerner databases.
- Work directly with accounting staff to automate manual processes and create departmental efficiencies.
