Job Title: Fabrication B (Ceramic Electrode Operator)

Job Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off)
Job Description:
Electrode Operator- support and manufacture a wide variety of intricate Ceramic components for production. Operate silk screening equipment, abrasive trimmer equipment and spray-painting systems while following standard work instructions charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc. to accomplish assigned work.
Essential Functions:
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools and fixturing
  • Must use PPE for appropriate protection.
  • Must be able to lift at least 32 pounds
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and shop orders.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to install specified tooling and setting job up to specifications.
  • Maintain the tooling inventory. Ensure that the tooling list is accurate and that all tools are maintained in useable condition.
  • Keep an accurate completion of required documentation involved in processing of parts, travelers, logs, process control data etc.
  • House keeping
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Easily trained, work well with engineering and supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Requires developing job knowledge/skills.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and data entry.
  • Mechanical experience background.
  • Good writing and communications skills.
  • Basic math skills.
