Resumen del Puesto

El personal de limpieza es responsable de mantener la limpieza y la sanidad en todo el centro de detención. Responsabilidades Principales
  • Limpiar y desinfectar las áreas designadas del centro de detención, incluyendo baños, pasillos, oficinas, dormitorios y áreas comunes.

  • Barrer, trapear, aspirar y restregar pisos para mantener la limpieza.

  • Vaciar botes de basura, reemplazar bolsas y desechar desechos según las normas del centro.

  • Desinfectar superficies de alto contacto como manijas de puertas, interruptores de luz y pasamanos.

  • Reabastecer suministros como jabón, toallas de papel y papel higiénico.

  • Reportar de inmediato cualquier problema de mantenimiento, riesgo o situación de seguridad al supervisor.

Job Summary

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the detention center. This includes cleaning common areas, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and other areas within the facility. The ideal candidate will be able to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and follow safety protocols while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.




Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize designated areas of the detention center, including restrooms, hallways, offices, dormitories, and communal spaces.

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors to maintain cleanliness.

  • Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines.

  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and railings.

  • Restock supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

  • Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.

  • Follow all facility safety protocols, security procedures, and cleaning schedules.

  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in proper working condition.

  • Ensure tasks are completed in accordance with security regulations and set timelines.




Qualifications
  • Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.

  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and schedules.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be able to interact respectfully and professionally with staff and detainees.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods.
