This role primarily operates in an onsite home care setting, emphasizing patient-centered care in a comfortable and familiar environment. You will be visiting patients in their homes, allowing for a more relaxed and personal therapy experience that can lead to better engagement and outcomes. • Deliver tailored physical therapy services to patients, focusing on their unique rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Manage a reasonable caseload, ensuring each patient receives adequate attention and care tailored to their specific recovery objectives.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care and apply advanced treatment techniques based on the most current research.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance clients’ overall mobility while minimizing the need for surgical interventions and medication dependency.
• Craft thorough care plans that encompass a wide range of therapeutic modalities and wellness techniques.
• Develop fitness programs that align with patients' individual health goals, ensuring their physical activities are safe and beneficial.
• Administer evidence-based interventions that are specific to each patient’s circumstances, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Motivate individuals throughout their recovery journey, fostering a supportive environment that encourages self-discipline and proactive health management.
• Promote wellness through education on building strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, helping patients achieve sustainable results.
• Document all treatments and progress accurately using EMR systems, ensuring that all patient records comply with regulations and best practices.

You will engage with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and age-related limitations. Each patient’s treatment will be customized, allowing you to adapt various strategies to suit varied demographics, including children, adults, and elderly individuals. Your role is crucial in improving their functional capabilities and overall well-being.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field is mandatory.
• Possession of a current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a clean record devoid of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise program design.
• Proficient use of EMR software like WebPT for streamlined documentation and patient tracking.
• Ability to stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy practices and continuously integrate new knowledge into patient care.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in physical therapy, specifically in outpatient care or home health settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with developing and implementing wellness programs that align with organizational objectives.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
