A center director is in charge of running a center efficiently and effectively. Their responsibilities are to allocate funds, recruit and train new staff, establish policies and procedures, and manage programs for youth or adults. A center director may also assist clients as needed, oversee equipment maintenance, ensure that state safety regulations are followed, and develop marketing strategies to bring in new clients. This position can be found in community, child care, learning, and career centers.
