 CEMETERY COUNSELOR CLERK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
-Meet with families to arrange cemetery services: Gravesides and Memorial Services.
-Complete all documents and/or permits in a timely manner and in accordance with the law.
-Assist and set up services on site: Includes assisting with placement & display of floral arrangements, managing guest flow, coordinating order of service with clergy/funeral home/families, leading processions to location at our cemetery.
-Assist with at need families in selecting property for loved ones.
-Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year experience in the cemetery industry.
- Valid drivers license.
- A professional attitude and appearance.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Must be a team player.
-Possession of basic computer skills: Word, Excell, etc.
-Be able to qualify for a Cemetery Salesperson License with the state of California.
-Occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs will be required.
-Must be able to work a Monday - Friday, 8am - 430pm schedule and once a month Saturdays from 8am to 4pm and occasional Sundays, 8am - 4pm.
