Job description

What you will do:

  • Analyze current production, delivery, and logistics processes for ready-mix concrete and aggregate products.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to reduce waste, increase output, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency and quality.
  • Ensure production processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new tools and systems.
  • Provide training and support to ensure adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Work closely with plant managers, production teams, and logistics personnel to identify and address operational challenges.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across plant operations, including production rates, material usage, and downtime.
  • Use data to develop and present reports to leadership.

Experience and abilities you will need:

Required Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills Abilitites

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering, operations management, or continuous improvement, preferably in the construction/building materials industry
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficiency and Strong analytical skills in data analysis techniques and tools
  • Experience in administering reliability systems, and asset tracking solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to equipment reliability and maintenance (OSHA/MSHA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • During on-call periods, the employee must be prepared to respond to work-related communications and incidents in a timely manner.
