What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, quality, safety, and cost performance
  • Analyze process data, identify variations, and implement sustainable solutions using sound engineering principles
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize production performance
  • Support capital projects, process upgrades, and operational trials from concept through implementation
  • Promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence in daily activities

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial cement manufacturing facility. The role combines office-based analysis with significant hands-on involvement in plant operations.

  • Physical activity, including climbing into and inspecting equipment, which may involve tight or confined spaces.
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dynamic production setting.
