Cement Mason Journeyman

SUMMARY 

Mortenson is currently seeking a Cement Mason Journeyman. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

A. Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistencyB. Prep work utilizing cementitious or finish product to ensure substrate is appropriate for product to set formsto specific standards, for example; chipping, bushing, and grindingC. Level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concreteD. Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, or wet and rub concrete with abrasive stone to create finish,place concrete to ensure proper elevationE. Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammerF. Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compoundG. Mold expansion joints and edgesH. Grind, chip, or blast to prep surface for materials, or as finishI. Clean work area and restocking supplies and materials as necessaryJ. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsK. All other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements 
  • *Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.

The base pay range for this role is $33.16 per hour.
