Job description


Mortenson is currently seeking a Cement Mason Journeyman.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency
B. Mix cement
C. Level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete
D. Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, or wet and rub concrete with abrasive stone to create finish
E. Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammer
F. Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
G. Mold expansion joints and edges
H. Clean work area and restocking supplies and materials as necessary
I. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
J. All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
  • *Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
