Job description

Hire Resolve is assisting aggregates and construction materials organizations in hiring experienced quarrying and plant professionals across the United States. This multi-role opportunity spans quarry operations, plant operations, maintenance and reliability, HSE leadership, and production supervision. Roles are suited to mid- to senior-level professionals and support progression into Quarry Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead safe, efficient quarry and plant operations (crushing, screening, conveying, loadout)
  • Strengthen compliance with MSHA/OSHA requirements and site safety programs
  • Drive production planning, equipment utilization, and quality control to meet customer demand
  • Improve uptime through preventative maintenance, work management, and reliability initiatives
  • Manage contractor work and ensure safe execution of maintenance, electrical, and mechanical tasks
  • Support continuous improvement in cost/ton, throughput, and plant performance
  • Maintain production reporting, inventory/stockpile management, and operational KPI dashboards
  • Develop teams through training, coaching, and structured performance management

Requirements

  • Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mining, Safety, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Typically 5-12+ years in aggregates/quarrying, construction materials, cement-related operations, or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong safety leadership with practical knowledge of MSHA/OSHA expectations
  • Familiarity with fixed-plant maintenance, mobile equipment coordination, and basic production analytics
  • Ability to work on-site; flexibility for early shifts, weekends, or seasonal peaks depending on operations
