Job description

Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, service disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Fredericksburg, VA. We are a dynamic, expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture, training/education/instruction, IT, cyber security, and intelligence (analysts, CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, etc.).
We are seeking a Spanish linguist for a position at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.
Linguists will provide foreign language interpretation and translation/transcription services to support user Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) requirements and other high priority tasks supporting real world operations pursuant to the mission. Linguists shall cull out actionable data to facilitate successful execution of the mission. The objective is to provide accurate, complete, and trusted interpretation and translation of data from a variety of sources. In support of these missions, contractor linguists shall cover a wide range of styles and subjects. Typical examples would include contracts and laws; treaties and international agreements on technical, scientific, military, economic, and cultural subjects; training manuals; court documents; political speeches and position papers; slide presentations; and official correspondence between government leaders. Other work assigned to contractors includes on-site support for meetings or conferences, summarizing documents, reviewing translations, and ascertaining the substantive conformity of texts written in two or more languages (comparisons).
Requirements
  • US Citizenship only, can't have dual citizenship
  • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • CI, HUMINT, SIGINT or OSINT Experience
  • MEDEX, CELLEX or DOMEX experience
  • Be able to score 3/3 ILR in target language and English.
