Cellar Worker SUMMARY This full-time position is open to an entry and mid-level independent Cellar Worker. The Cellar Worker will assist in all crush operations, barrel work, wine movement, cellar sanitation, cellar organization, bottling preparation, bottling line operations and special projects. This position may also assist the cellar maintenance team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform most cellar operations; including equipment sanitation, wine movements, barrel work, topping. Complete winery work orders promptly and records information accurately. Bottling line work.

Collect wine samples for laboratory analysis. Helps to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient winery. Operate filtration equipment - training provided.

Work shifts, overtime and weekends during harvest season - generally from August 1st late November. Operate grape processing equipment including hoist, crusher/de stemmer, conveyors and presses. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Knowledge, and Skills High school diploma or GED, basic math calculations.

Able to work a flexible schedule as needed, including extra hours during harvest Capacity to learn how to perform winery tasks safely Ability to drive a forklift or become forklift operator certified preferred Capacity to drive a company vehicle preferred During Harvest (typically August to November) must be able to work 5 days, 8 hour shifts, overtime and weekends. Must be able to work 4 days, 10 hour shift when not in Harvest. Physical Demands Able to stand and walk for long periods of time Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly Ability to carry up to 50 pounds over moderate distances.

Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, crawl and walk. Ability to climb ladders and stairs. Ability to pull or push objects over moderate distances.
