Job description

Join our team as a Weld Technician, where you'll play a key role in keeping our welding and laser-scanning equipment running at peak performance. You'll support production, train operators, troubleshoot equipment, and help develop weld and Perceptron programs.

Job Title: Weld Technician
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Shift: 2nd shift (2pm-10pm)

Compensation: Salary, Non-Exempt (You get OT)

What You'll Do:

  • Support daily welding and scanning operations
  • Train new operators on equipment and processes
  • Troubleshoot weld programs, robotics (Motoman), and fixtures
  • Develop and maintain weld and laser programs
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams
  • Uphold safety and quality standards (ISO, TS16949, PPAP)

What You'll Bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in welding or manufacturing
  • Experience with Motoman robot controllers (MRC, XRC, NX, DX, YRC)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic)
  • Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, GD&T, and ISO standards
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
