NOVA Engineering is hiring a Staff Engineer to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects throughout the metropolitan statistical area (MSA). This position offers full benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, etc.), 401k with company match, certification reimbursement, cell phone, laptop, and many more perks. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Staff/project engineering duties such as data reduction, analysis, and fieldwork for various projects (Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing/Inspection).
  • Assisting with project management and reporting.
  • Field inspection, sampling, and testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, and reinforcing steel.
  • Report preparation.
  • Client consultation and maintenance.
  • Supporting team members to achieve company objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and 0-3+ years of applicable experience.
  • Successfully passing the F.E. exam is required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The role involves approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office work, with occasional travel.
