NOVA Engineering is hiring a Staff Engineer to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects throughout the metropolitan statistical area (MSA). Primary responsibilities include:

  • Staff/project engineering duties such as data reduction, analysis, and fieldwork for various projects (Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing/Inspection).
  • Assisting with project management and reporting.
  • Field inspection, sampling, and testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, and reinforcing steel.
  • Report preparation.
  • Client consultation and maintenance.
  • Supporting team members to achieve company objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and 0-3+ years of applicable experience.
  • Successfully passing the F.E. exam is required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The role involves approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office work, with occasional travel.
