  • Location: Waterloo, IA (Project-Based Travel)

  • Pay: $28.00 $30.00/hour + Year-End Bonus

  • Schedule: Monday Friday

About the Role

Artisan Ceiling Systems and Acoustical Specialties is seeking an experienced Ceiling Grid Installer to support high-quality interior installations across commercial, residential, and government projects. This is a hands-on role for a skilled installer who takes pride in precision work and can operate efficiently in a fast-paced jobsite environment.
Youll play a key role in delivering complex ceiling and acoustical systems, working alongside a team that values craftsmanship, consistency, and long-term career growth.

What Youll Do
  • Install ceiling grid systems and acoustical components on a variety of large-scale projects

  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure accurate layouts

  • Maintain production pace while meeting quality and safety standards

  • Work closely with field teams to keep projects on schedule

  • Operate tools and equipment to cut, fit, and install materials including architectural wood and specialty panels

  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements

  • Support and guide less experienced installers when needed

Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ceiling grid and acoustical installation

  • Strong ability to read and understand commercial construction drawings and specifications

  • Proven reliability and consistent jobsite productivity

  • Comfortable working in physically demanding, fast-paced environments

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with architectural wood, Marlite, or specialty acoustical systems

  • Background working on commercial or government (federal) projects

  • Self-motivated with a long-term interest in carpentry, interiors, or millwork
