Role Summary:

The Functional Lead – Dynamics 365 CE leads CE functional delivery, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective customer engagement solutions. This role works closely with Solution Architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful end user adoption and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements for CE solutions
  • Configure Dynamics 365 CE modules and components
  • Lead UAT, training, and user adoption activities
  • Support integrations and data migration validation
  • Act as functional escalation point for issues

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of CE consulting experience
  • Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE modules
  • Experience working with Power Platform
  • Experience creating & managing work backlogs and writing User Stories
  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Experience delivering projects via hybrid waterfall/agile methodologies including Scrum

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Omnichannel or Field Service
  • PL-200 or equivalent certification

Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on expertise in Dynamics 365 CE functional configuration across Sales, Service, and related apps
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse entities, relationships, and business rules
  • Experience configuring forms, views, dashboards, business process flows, and security roles
  • Knowledge of Power Automate for workflow and business process automation
  • Ability to validate and support data migration, imports, and integrations
  • Experience leading UAT cycles, defect triage, and functional validation
  • Understanding of user adoption strategies, training, and change management
  • Familiarity with solution management and environment governance
