Medical Assistant - Support HRH-Surgical Centers
Serve as support and resource personnel for centralized medical staff services across NY and NJ Surgical Centers.
Assist healthcare providers in submitting applications to affiliated facilities.
 Update and maintain accurate credentials for healthcare providers, including licenses, CDS, DEA, COI, and all other required documentation by state requirement 
Coordinate and provide support for all credentialing functions, including clerical support operations for medical staff services. Conduct phone calls, scan documents,
 Maintain and manage related information systems and staff office records.
 Support providers throughout the onboarding process, including orientation and obtaining ID badges
communicate with staff regarding the flow of information necessary to maintain daily activities within the department and in other departments (such as the clinical departments);
performs related duties and executes projects as assigned.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel. 

Experience Requirements

  1. 1-2 years of medical office-related work experience required.

  2. Ability to organize, prioritize multiple tasks and manage multiple priorities.

  3.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills.

  4.  Able to work collaboratively with the team to achieve tasks and goals.
