Your Role:

Our Role
New Business
Target customers in the broader geographical area of the North-West Region (North of San Francisco, Washington and some parts of Canada), including emerging, mid-size, and large pharmaceutical companies with mid/late-stage clinical development projects and commercial API products.
Formulate and implement New Business Development (NBD) strategies based on market research and industry insights.
Engage in Siegfried social marketing activities to raise awareness of company offerings and planned events.
Support client visits to the various sites within Siegfried's global manufacturing network.
Stakeholder Management
Orchestrate mutual efforts with our global and local departments to grow our business. Plan and align with our customers on their requirements, forecasts, and firm orders to help ensure the seamless execution of their new API business within our global network.
Work with technical teams to evaluate and assess new projects enabling the preparation and submission of written proposals.
Develop contracts with new customers (in conjunction with Siegfried departments involved) and remain responsible for their monitoring and compliance.

This role is strategically important to our company's mission. You will be key to continuing our remarkable growth story by expanding an already robust and diverse client base of innovator companies. As Director, you will drive business growth for a global leader in the expanding CDMO market with a focus on drug substance (API).

Your Role

Your Profile

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within a pharmaceutical CDMO, with strong knowledge of drug substance (API) manufacturing.
  • Any further knowledge of the API services pharmaceutical industry (business development, sales, R&D, production, project management) will be an advantage.
  • BSc / MSc / PhD degree in chemistry, natural sciences, or chemical engineering is preferred.

  • Around 30% travel will be required as part of the role.
