Business Development Executive (MedTech Manufacturing)

Overview

A leading global manufacturing partner within the medical device and life sciences space is seeking a high-level Business Development Executive to drive net-new revenue growth.

This is a true hunter role focused on winning new OEM business and building long-term partnerships across complex, regulated manufacturing programs.

You will own the full sales cycleโ€”from strategic prospecting through commercializationโ€”while working closely with engineering, operations, and executive leadership.


What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Drive net-new business development across medical device OEMs
  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Lead full-cycle sales: discovery ? RFQ ? proposal ? negotiation ? launch
  • Develop strategic account plans to penetrate targeted OEMs
  • Engage directly with executive stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and operations
  • Partner with internal technical teams to align on manufacturing solutions and feasibility
  • Lead commercial discussions including pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements
  • Represent the organization at industry events, networking channels, and market-facing initiatives

What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • 10+ years of hunter-style sales experience (must have proven new logo wins)
  • Background selling into:
    • Medical Device OEMs
    • Contract Manufacturing / CDMO / Outsourced Manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Injection molding, assembly, or device manufacturing
    • ISO 13485 / FDA-regulated environments
  • Experience managing long-cycle, consultative sales processes
  • Ability to engage both technical and executive-level decision makers
  • Track record of closing large, complex manufacturing programs
