Job description

Position: Bus Driver
Description: The position of Bus Driver, under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor, is responsible for the safe transportation of students of the Constantine Public School District.
Assignment/Responsibilities:
  • Drive a school bus safely and professionally.
  • Show proficiency in handling students.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Comply with all traffic ordinances.
  • Attend training as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Yearly DOT physical
  • Current CDL license B with air brake and P & S endorsements
  • Pass drug/alcohol test and criminal records check
  • Maintain a good driving record
  • School bus training as required by the State of Michigan
