This license allows them to drive vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, or any vehicle towing another vehicle not in excess of 10,000 pounds. CDL B Bus Drivers typically transport passengers along designated routes, ensuring their safety and following all traffic laws. They may work for public transit agencies, schools, or private companies. Proper training and passing a written and road skills test are required to obtain a CDL B license.
