To thrive as a CDC Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you need strong clinical nursing skills, a current LPN license, and knowledge of infection control protocols. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), immunization tracking systems, and basic medical equipment is typically required. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams are crucial soft skills. These competencies ensure the effective delivery of patient care, support public health initiatives, and maintain safety and compliance within CDC healthcare environments.
