Job Description

Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Perform chairside assisting tasks including preparing instruments, equipment, and materials.
Administer and monitor Nitrous Oxide sedation under dentist supervision (if certified).
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and dental charts.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies to ensure smooth office operation.
Provide excellent patient care and education about treatments and oral hygiene.
Assist with front office duties as necessary to support daily operations.

Salary Range

Part-time $18 - $22 per hour

Requirements

  • Nitrous Oxide Certification

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential required
Current CPR certification
Nitrous Oxide Certification preferred but not required
Proven experience with chairside assisting techniques
Knowledge of dental office procedures and patient safety protocols
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
