CCTV Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Operating remote cameras to videotape inside sewer lines for inspections and determine if cleaning and/or repairs and reinstatement of service laterals after rehabilitation (cutting taps) are needed.

  • Repair various sewer lines using a specific product and process.

  • Service, adjust, and perform minor repairs to camera, equipment, and attachments.

  • Learn Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and use of equipment.

  • Work with supervisors, clients, peers, and subordinates.

  • Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop,crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, and stretch

  • Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear without visual cues.

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

  • Ability to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined space. jobsnow

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Robotic tap cutting experience preferred but will train someone with transferrable skills.

  • Class A or B CDL required.

  • 1 - 2 years' experience working in an outdoor construction environment with CIPP experience,required.

  • OSHA certifications required.

  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.

  • Must be able to travel, as much as 75% of the time.

  • Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends as needed.

  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR,and criminal history background check.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use.

  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
