The Digital Campaign Manager, Key Accounts Opportunity:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) serves as the primary point of contact for Townsquare Ignite's most valuable accounts. KAMs focus on fewer accounts with significantly larger billing, delivering a high-touch, white-glove client experience.

This role is highly client-facing - you will join client calls, present performance reports, and serve as a trusted advisor to drive strategy, optimizations, and opportunities for expansion. The ideal candidate is consultative, detail-oriented, and confident explaining digital marketing performance in a way that inspires client trust and long-term partnership.

Success in this role is measured by client satisfaction, account retention, upsell growth, and reduced campaign cancellations.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Client Partnership:

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner for high-value accounts, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Confidently join and lead client calls to present campaign results, performance insights, and recommendations.
  • Advise clients on opportunities for campaign optimizations, cross-channel expansion, and increased ROI.
  • Partner with sales leaders to identify growth opportunities within key accounts.

Campaign Pre-Launch:

  • Ensure campaign proposals align with client objectives and business goals.
  • Oversee targeting and strategy, tailoring solutions to fit the unique needs of key accounts.
  • Guide clients through setup requirements (creative, pixels, KPIs), ensuring campaigns are fully prepared for launch.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Buying and Creative to ensure an efficient and effective campaign launch.

Campaign Post-Launch:

  • Act as the ongoing client-facing liaison for campaign performance, optimizations, revisions, and renewals.
  • Translate analytics and performance data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Provide proactive recommendations for adjustments and upsells to maximize client outcomes.
  • Participate in regular virtual team meetings with the camera on to foster stronger collaboration and engagement, ensuring active communication and connection with colleagues across departments.

 

Qualifications:

  • Client-Facing Expertise: Demonstrated ability to confidently lead client calls, explain performance data, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Strategic Thinker: Comfortable advising executives and decision-makers on growth opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; able to simplify complex digital metrics for clients.
  • 5+ years of digital advertising experience with programmatic, SEM, social, or multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple high-value accounts simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
