Job Description
Position Title: CCMR Advisor
Position Salary: Salaried $67,760.00 / Exempt Length of Term/Employment: 220 workdays / At-Will
Position Hours: Full-time, occasional extended hours for events
Reports to: Campus Principal
Position Mission: The CCMR Advisor supports the campus principal in the strategic implementation and monitoring of College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all students are on track to meet graduation and post-secondary readiness goals. The advisor guides students through academic planning, career exploration, and the college application process to ensure alignment with the Texas Accountability System and Jubilee's goal of 100% CCMR readiness. The CCMR Advisor collaborates with students and families, provides timely information and resources, and works to remove barriers to post-secondary success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Education or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in education, academic advising, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of CCMR pathways, high school graduation requirements, and post-secondary options

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Academic Advising & CCMR Planning
  • Provide individual and group academic advising focused on CCMR progress and post-secondary goals
  • Create individualized education and career plans for each student
  • Conduct and document at least one advising meeting per student each semester to review CCMR indicators and next steps
  • Assist students in selecting appropriate courses aligned to college, career, and military pathways
  • Provide support with college applications, FAFSA/TASFA completion, scholarship searches, and military enlistment
  • Guide students in preparation for TSI, SAT, ACT, and coordinate testing logistics in collaboration with campus teams
  • Monitor student progress toward graduation and post-secondary readiness, and maintain accurate records towards each benchmark.

Program Implementation & Support
  • Implement campus-based CCMR initiatives in alignment with district goals and accountability metrics
  • Collaborate with administrators and teachers to support advanced academics, dual credit, and CTE programs
  • Develop systems to track and report student CCMR data to the Campus Principal, CCMR Director, and PEIMS department and develop or create a strategic plan for students that are off track
  • Disseminate resources on job opportunities, college programs, and military options to students and families
  • Coordinate campus events such as college fairs, FAFSA nights, career days, and college tours

Collaboration & Communication
  • Engage families in the CCMR process through workshops, informational sessions, and one-on-one meetings
  • Collaborate with campus teams and district departments (campus administrator, CCMR, CTE, PEIMS) to support student outcomes (Biweekly meetings)
  • Maintain active partnerships with colleges, military branches, and local workforce organizations
  • Stay informed on legislative and policy updates impacting CCMR (e.g., House Bill 5, House Bill 3)
