We are actively recruiting an experienced Specification Writer to join our Technical Design Services team in our Dallas office location.  This detail-oriented individual will work to uphold the highest quality standards for technical design and project specifications. 

Responsibilities
  • Working with the design team to select appropriate materials and systems for various project types including commercial, healthcare, aviation, education and data centers
  • Writing project specifications from Corgan master specifications and compiling project manuals
  • Assisting design team with technical guidance during construction contract administration
  • Product research and evaluation
  • Technical design assistance
  • Construction contract administration support of design studio staff
  • Mentoring of design studio technical staff
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of experience in the design & construction industry
  • 3 years experience as Specifications Writer
  • Experience in one or more of our market sectors (commercial, healthcare, aviation, education, data centers, and interiors) is highly preferred
  • Licensed architect, CSI CCS, or CSI CCCA preferred

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
