Position Description
JOB TITLE: School Lunch Server - TEMP
REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager
STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly
HOURS: Part-Time (20 hours)

Your passion:
This position is responsible for all food production and serving in the areas where school lunches will be served. This individual will maintain a heart to serve and share the love of Jesus to the next generation of believers.
The School Lunch Server is responsible for the food preparations, for areas where school lunches will be served. Will have responsibilities to set-up, production, serving, and clean-up of the daily lunch program. There will be light prep work and will have to have the ability to lift 45lbs, able to use a kitchen knife for light cutting displaying the heart of a true servant of God, touching the lives of each of the children.

You will:
  • Basic knowledge of Kitchen standards, kitchen safety and health safety standards.
  • Daily set-up, clean up and tear down of school lunch areas: Cafeteria, Landing, Hub and assist at Barista if need.
  • Stocking the supplies, beverages, and food items before 10:45 am.
  • Prep and Produce Hot and Cold food items to be sold.
  • Responsible to clean up workstation, maintain rotate food and manage waste.
  • Responsible to handle food according to health safety standards at all times.
  • Work the register, ringing any item up properly on POS system, exchanging payment efficiently, accountable for money in drawer for your shift - count before and after.
  • Welcoming students and staff, helping them with their questions, serve them.
