You’ll serve as a key liaison between our clients and internal departments, using independent judgment to ensure high-quality service delivery and satisfaction.


Reporting to the Director of Client Services and working cohesively with the Executive Manager, the core objective of the Account Manager is to support and develop lasting relationships with self-funded medical, dental and ancillary benefit client groups.


Responsibilities


The day-to-day responsibility of an Account Manager includes:

  • Act as an internal client liaison to manage all aspects of onboarding and implementing in a communicative and diligent fashion.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with our existing client base by answering inquiries while setting, managing, and exceeding expectations.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment to manage projects associated with implementing new client groups.
  • Provide the best possible service and recommendations in relation to CBG products.
  • Escalate client concerns and utilize core internal resources and systems for grievances and appeals.
  • Contribute to the performance of the service delivery on your team and report progress daily.
  • Collaborate cross departmentally with internal resources to assist in the development and design of client presentations.
  • Must be able to prioritize daily tasks.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or years 2 of equivalent related experience in business
  • One to three years’ experience in the health benefit/ insurance space
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and across team settings
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft office suite
  • TPA knowledge a benefit
