Familiarity with ABA software, data collection tools, and individualized behavior intervention planning is important. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and patience are vital soft skills for collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. What are the typical responsibilities of a Certified Behavior Analyst during a standard work week?

A Certified Behavior Analyst typically spends their week assessing clients' behavioral needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles, collecting and analyzing behavioral data, and providing direct therapy or supervision. CBAs frequently collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment and may offer training and support to caregivers. You may also attend team meetings, document progress, and periodically update intervention strategies to reflect client growth.
