STARTING RATE:  $13.00

JOB SUMMARY: 

 

Remove garbage from buildings (VR) and/or floors (CB). Count and stock clean linen on buildings according to established pars for all Mesquite Entertainment properties.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Quality control, customer relations and ability to follow procedures required. Must be self motivated, organized and able to work well without immediate supervision. Ability to drive a vehicle with automatic or standard transmission required. Must be able to read, speak and write English. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions required. Basic math skills required. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Remove all garbage from buildings/floors.
  1. Maintain linen stock on buildings/floors to established pars.

 

  1. Report maintenance issues to maintain rooms in order.
  1. Deliver requested items in a timely manner.
  1. Clean guest rooms as needed and/or instructed by management.
  1. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Give accurate directions, guiding the guest if needed.

 

  • Be observant; if a group of guests is checking in, know they don’t have enough towels and offer extra immediately.

 

  • Tell the guest to “have fun” and “come again”.

 

  • Tell about the properties and amenities to encourage the guest to have fun.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

The work requires extensive and repetitive physical exertion, bending or kneeling repeatedly, lifting, pulling and pushing moderately heavy objects.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

 

The work environment involves everyday risks and discomforts typical of smoke filled environments and pet accommodated environments. Work takes place indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather. Use of safe work practices required.
