Job description

We are seeking a punctual and responsible individual who enjoys operating equipment to be a part of our Feeding team. This individual would play an integral role in the safe delivery of feed to our cattle every day. The schedule for this position is a rotating 4 days on and then 4 days off.
This person will be responsible for:
  • Operating the feed trucks in a safe manner.
  • Delivering precise rations accurately and efficiently.
  • Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
  • Reporting and recording all feed audits.
  • Performing basic preventative maintenance, including replacing bits and changing oils and filters.

Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
  • Mechanical interest and aptitude is beneficial.
  • Understanding of proper bunk management.
  • Commitment to safety and quality culture.
  • Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
  • Driven, organized, action-oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task.
  • Individual must be team oriented.
  • Proven professional communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail.

This position requires:
  • Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing and sitting frequently; walking, carrying, lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, stairs, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally.

Compensation Details:
  • Starting Wage: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
