What You'll Do
As a Farm Equipment & Irrigation Operator, you'll help support crop production and farm operations by:
  • Operating and monitoring flood and pivot irrigation systems to ensure crops receive the water they need to thrive.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing pivot irrigation equipment to maintain efficient operations.
  • Supporting irrigation activities, including digging corrugates, transporting equipment, and assisting with water management projects.
  • Operating a variety of farm equipment and machinery for tasks such as tillage, planting, spraying, cultivating, and other field operations.
  • Preparing fields and supporting crop establishment according to seasonal production schedules.
  • Maintaining farm property and infrastructure, including fence construction and repair, weed control, and upkeep of farm buildings and structures.
  • Assisting with seasonal maintenance and repair projects to keep equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently year-round.
  • Working closely with the farm team on a variety of projects that contribute to the success of the operation.

  • Flood irrigation
  • Agricultural equipment operation
  • General farming or ranching operations
