Cath Lab RN

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM with on-call once a week and every 5th weekend Experience: 2 years minimum License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience, ideally EP experience Description: Two Cath Lab RNs needed ASAP. Looking primarily for cath lab experience, but ideally, candidates should also have EP experience. Candidates will be required to take STEMI call. A minimum of 2 years of experience is necessary. Candidates will need ACLS and NIHSS certifications. Shifts are either from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on call days. When not on call, the schedule is 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM; when on call, it is 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The lab is very busy, performing 15-20 procedures per day. A wide variety of procedures are performed, including peripheral vascular intervention and cardiac interventions. Cardiac rhythm management procedures, including EP, are part of the workflow. Experience in structural heart procedures is not required. The position involves four ten-hour shifts with rotating on-call duties. The schedule will be provided in a six-week rotation. On-call is one night per week, and every 6th weekend when scheduled for call falls on Friday. Days off rotate, and there is a four-day weekend built into the schedule. Flexibility and openness to help cover extra call shifts as needed is expected. Any EP experience is a bonus.
