Cath Lab Technologist

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Specialty: Cardiology / Vascular

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 0600-1630 or 0700-1530

Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: 5 years preferred, will consider less if in a high-volume cath lab

License: RT, RCIS, CVT

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Must-Have Skills/Experience: Monitor and scrub on Cath Lab procedures

Description: Weekly Orientations are available. Immediate coverage needed. Position requires working in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment. The facility has a total of 263 beds. Patient care is a primary focus for the team. Patient ratios are comprised of a 3-person team per case. Utilizes Philips Cath Lab equipment and Merge Hemo technology. The electronic health record system is Meditech. Ideal candidates should be patient-focused with a positive attitude and a team player mentality. Common diagnoses include cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases. Dress code requires black scrubs with no torn clothing or inappropriate language.
