Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Brick Township, New Jersey

Pay Rate: $2,850 To $ 3,040/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift | 10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week

Experience: Minimum 3 Years of Recent Cardiac Cath Lab Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Brick Township, New Jersey. This position supports a high-volume Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong Cath Lab experience, advanced hemodynamic monitoring skills, and hands-on experience with Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support devices.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

  • Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile technique, and operate Cath Lab equipment.

  • Perform hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and cardiovascular data collection.

  • Assist with Impella, IABP, temporary and permanent pacemaker procedures, vascular access, and hemostasis.

  • Document procedures using EPIC and cardiovascular information systems while maintaining radiation safety and quality standards.

Requirements
  • Active BLS (AHA) certification required.

  • Minimum 3 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.

  • Strong experience with Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) required; permanent pacemaker experience preferred.

  • Radiology Certification required; ARRT and applicable state radiologic license preferred.

  • Experience with Mac-Lab, EPIC, hemodynamic monitoring, and participation in an on-call rotation preferred.
