This role will oversee motor product development to ensure all requirements are met through focused NTI, NPI and CPI process rigor. This Senior Design Engineering Specialist – Electric Motors and Generators will provide technical direction for a team of engineers to deliver motor, generator and resistor grid designs. With a focus on supporting existing production components and launching new products, there will be a focus on improving design rigor, providing guidance/direction on issue resolution, analysis & simulation and providing review of the mechanical aspects of our motors, generators and resistor grids. This role will focus on providing technical guidance that will improve the durability, lower cost and help define solutions for some our most challenging applications.**Responsibilities*** Develop design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications of products and components that satisfy customer needs and advance Safety Quality velocity and cost.* Guiding the evolution of the technical design, technical project planning, detail design, and development testing.
