At Joseph’s Classic Market, our Catering Associates play an important role in ensuring every catering order is prepared with care, packaged accurately, and delivered on time. From assisting customers with their selections to coordinating with multiple departments behind the scenes, this role helps bring our quality and service beyond the store and into our customers’ homes, offices, and special events.

Routine Tasks:

  • Assist in taking and entering customer catering orders accurately
  • Provide menu information and answer customer questions about catering options
  • Prepare and package catering items according to established standards
  • Help coordinate and communicate order details with other departments
  • Support the delivery team by helping load catering orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering prep area
  • Ensure proper labeling and presentation of catering items
  • Provide courteous and efficient customer service
  • Assist with deliveries as needed (must have valid driver’s license)
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Catering Manager or store leadership

Qualifications:

  • Friendly and respectful customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work well with others in a team setting
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with deliveries
  • A passion for serving people

Physical & Work Environment

The Catering Associate must be able to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 pounds. This role operates in a fast-paced environment that involves frequent interaction with customers and fellow team members. The position includes driving the company van to deliver catering orders, including loading and unloading products to ensure safe and timely service.
