Job description

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Catering Cook to join our growing New York Team!

With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and cook items according to specification/recipe.
  • Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO & CO standard.
  • Lead by example, preparing and cooking dishes.
  • Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
  • Maintain work areas clean and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preferably with large production volume.
  • Knowledge of ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and cooking times.
  • A fulltime cook who is energetic, hard-working, organized, and familiar with working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certificate in culinary arts, or relevant field a plus.
  • Must have flexibility to work various shifts according to business needs.
