The Category Manager role is responsible for scaling a book of enterprise partners, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business. Responsibilities: - Partner with Category leadership to identify and prioritize the highest-potential electronics sellers to join TikTok Shop, and lead the business development process end to end - Generate, curate, and continually advance a pipeline of qualified prospects based on opportunity size, readiness for platform, creators, and customers, and ability to execute content commerce, and deliver on BD goals to grow the category - Deeply understand the TikTok category space and target brands, and conceptualize effective pitch materials and processes to deliver the right outcomes with brands - Partner with internal cross-functional teams to help brands navigate onboarding & integration, and optimize the process so that your BD pipeline progresses at speed, and delivers growth for the sellers - Develop reporting, analysis, and measurement that monitors and optimizes seller onboarding. - Collaborate and partner with internal cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and drive seller acquisition results
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years experience in business development, vendor acquisition, or sales for retailer, marketplace, or ecommerce platform - Experience working with consumable brands and sellers or equivalent experience - Experience engaging with and influencing executive leadership in B2B settings and negotiating the right BD outcomes - Experience managing a scalable process to meet monthly and quarterly OKR, and the analytical and problem-solving ability to improve the process to support business growth Preferred Qualifications - Quick learner, proactive and resilient. [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $108000 - $168000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
