What You'll Do

  • Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) to both procure and maintain accurate inventory levels based on OEM recommended spare parts
  • Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate part quantities, min/max setpoints, and accurate bin locations.
  • Retrieve orders from shipping area, accurately receives them into inventory and either puts them into inventory or delivers them to the requestor.
  • Daily follow-up on status of open orders and communication with the maintenance group on parts received and/or issues with vendors
  • Identifies obsolete parts/supplies and locates possible buyers for said items and removes from inventory
  • May be required to travel to pick up local orders of needed parts and supplies
  • Work with Planning & Parts Coordinator & Maintenance Supervisor on workflows to enhance both company & department directives.
  • Performs other duties as required
Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • May require bending or lifting.
