Investment Casting Operator

Location: Fair Lawn, NJ
Pay Rate: $23.64 per hour
Assignment: 1-Year Temporary Assignment, with Possible Extension or Hire
Schedule: Full-Time
Job Type: Temporary

Job Summary

We are seeking an Investment Casting Operator to join our manufacturing team in Fair Lawn, NJ. This role is responsible for performing basic production, assembly, inspection, and machine operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and prepare products, parts, and components.

  • Operate equipment such as wax molds, soldering guns, cut-off wheels, and automated machinery.

  • Inspect parts and finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.

  • Monitor product quality and take corrective action according to established procedures.

  • Perform cutoff, snagging, forming, inspection, and assembly operations.

  • Use thread gauges and other basic measuring tools.

  • Complete production and quantity documentation accurately.

  • Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of machines and work areas.

  • Follow all safety rules, operating procedures, and department standards.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production or quality concerns.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a foundry environment, preferably in cutoff, snagging, or forming.

  • Previous manufacturing or inspection experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and follow safety rules, work instructions, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals.

  • Comfortable performing basic math, including fractions and decimals.

  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Pay Details: $23.64 per hour
