Job description

FUNCTION:
Guided by the company's goals and objectives, the CassPay President provides leadership to ensure the business unit has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The GM will manage the business unit's P&L and analyze all possible improvements to the overall quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Provides day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the mission and core values of the company.
  2. Drives the business unit to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, revenue, business goals, and objectives thought the overall management of the business unit's P&L.
  3. Is responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes and provides timely, accurate, and complete reports on the operating conditions of the company.
  4. Spearheads the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies.
  5. Collaborates with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, procedures, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.
  6. Develops and executes promotional plans that support the business unit's brand recognition.
  7. Maintains consistency, relevance and freshness in the business unit's marketing website, PowerPoint presentations, and peripheral materials.
  8. Motivates and leads a high-performance team by attracting and retaining required staff, producing and updating processing standards to assist in evaluation of staff performance, and ensuring proper training programs are developed, implemented, and rigidly adhered too.
  9. Represents the business unit to clients, vendors, and leadership, including board members as requested.
  10. Performs other duties as required or directed by leadership.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  1. Effective collaborator to build alliances with internal and external contacts.
  2. A high degree of interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all Cass departments in all locations.
  3. An extensive understanding of applicable technology, data processing, and familiarity with all Cass systems and differences by location.
  4. The ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships simultaneously.
  5. A high level of analytical skills to evaluate aspects of the economy related to Cass and pricing of Cass services.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  7. Project coordination experience in a service/information oriented or technical environment.
  8. General understanding of the software development lifecycle with a background in SQL preferred.
  9. Prior experience managing a P&L and impacting results in a positive manner.
  10. Travel as required.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY REQUIRED:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required or equivalent experience.
  2. 10+ years of progressively increasing management experience in service/information-oriented operations.
