Position Summary
The Criminal Justice teacher is responsible for instructing all courses in the Next Level Program of Studies(NLPS) Criminal Justice graduation pathway. All courses are dual-credit courses through Ivy Tech, which will require the teacher to be credentialed through Ivy Tech to teach dual-credit courses.
Key Responsibilities
Early Childhood Education NLPS Coursework Instruction
  • Classroom instruction of all courses required in the NLPS Criminal Justice Graduation pathway. Currently, these courses include:
    • Introduction to Criminal Justice - CRIM 101
    • Introduction to Criminal Justice Careers - CRIM 134
    • Introduction to Criminology - CRIM 105
    • Introduction to Law Enforcement - CRIM 110
    • Cultural Awareness - CRIM 103
    • Introduction to Corrections - CRIM 130

Required
  • Masters in Criminal Justice, or Masters in any field with 18 graduate level credits in Criminal Justice
