Overview

Cash Construction, a MasTec company, is currently hiring for CDL Water Truck drivers to join our team in the Austin, TX area.

The CDL Water Truck Driver is responsible for transporting water to and from various job locations safely and without incidents.

CDL A with Tanker Endorsments is required for this position.

MasTec's Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4.5 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.

Lowboy Driver operates specialized heavy-duty trucks with lowboy RGN (Removable Gooseneck) trailers to transport oversized, overweight, or heavy machinery. They are primarily responsible for the safe loading, securing, and timely delivery of equipment to construction sites.

Responsibilities
  • Transport water to various job locations.
  • Performs daily preventative maintenance, record and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection checking and adding fluids as needed.
  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Assist maintenance with minor repairs as needed.
  • Familiarity with area, ability to read maps & follow directions
Qualifications
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum Class B Drivers License required
  • CDL Class A or B is required
  • Tanker Endorsement is required
