Cash In Transit (CIT) personnel often face challenges such as maintaining high levels of security, adhering to strict schedules, and working in potentially high-risk environments. Staying vigilant, following established security protocols, and maintaining clear communication with team members are crucial for managing these challenges. Training in conflict de-escalation and situational awareness also helps CIT employees handle unexpected situations effectively. What is a cash in transit?

Cash In Transit jobs involve safely transporting cash and other valuables between locations such as banks, ATMs, retail stores, and cash processing centers. Employees in these roles typically work for security companies and are responsible for ensuring the secure and timely delivery of money and assets. These positions often require vigilance, adherence to strict security protocols, and sometimes the operation of armored vehicles.
