Description:


Our company is seeking reliable and responsible part-time drivers to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles to and from various dealerships, repo yards, rental/leasing companies, banks, utility companies, government yards, and various mechanic/body shops.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  1. Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
  2. Always exhibit โ€˜hands onโ€™ and direct approach with customers.
  3. Assist customers with questions and/or concerns.
  4. Ensure ashtrays are empty and trash removed from vehicles at the end of each run.
  5. Ensure vehicles are safe for operation.
  6. Ensure all fluid levels except for gas are checked and full prior to driving any vehicle. Notify Chase Van Driver/Ambassador of all fluids used to ensure completion of necessary paperwork.
  7. Ensure gas is only filled to the desired level as needed for the length of the trip.
  8. Do not operate vehicles โ€˜hotโ€™. Pull over if vehicle runs hot.
  9. Ensure all has been done to avoid leaving a stranded vehicle.
  10. Ensure familiarity with routes and follow drivers in a pack. Never fall behind pack.
  11. Ensure vehicle is delivered to dealer as desired. Ensure car is parked at dealerโ€™s location where wanted, with windows up if requested and keys are in safe and secure place.
  12. Ensure cars are parked in proper location based on run number in windshield on sale day.
  13. Ensure keys are in ignition for all vehicles in your lane on sale day.
  14. Be in assigned lane prepared for sale when auction starts.
  15. Keep vehicles moving throughout the lane through the sale with all doors unlocked.
  16. Work well independently as well as a team player.
  17. Performs other duties as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous driving or courier experience preferred.
  • Skills: Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Highly customer service orientated. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driverโ€™s license
  • Environment: The environment of the Driver involves the transportation of vehicles to and from the auction. Those working in this position are subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust at times
