Job description

Job Title: Community Resource CoordinatorLocation: 91 South Lee Street, LaBelle, FL 33935Employment Type: Full-Time / SalaryGoodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Community Resource Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of a Community Resource Center and implement the Goodwill Opportunity Accelerator service framework. This position provides intake, assessment, case management, digital skills training, work skills training, community referrals, and employment support services to individuals and families. The Community Resource Coordinator works closely with community partners, employers, and service agencies to connect participants with resources, training opportunities, and employment pathways while maintaining accurate documentation and high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities:Assist with marketing and recruitment activities to identify and engage eligible individuals for Community Resource Center services.Provide intake services, assess individual and family needs, and connect participants with appropriate resources, training opportunities, employment services, and community-based partners.Develop and maintain referral networks and community partnerships to address the needs of individuals and families served.Maintain accurate, timely documentation, case management records, referral follow-up, and required record keeping in accordance with agency requirements, contractual obligations, and CARF standards.Deliver Digital Training services, including proctoring Northstar Digital Literacy Project assessments and certifications as applicable.Develop and maintain consumer and family service action plans and provide ongoing support and follow-up services.Represent Goodwill within the community through interagency meetings, chambers, planning conferences, job fairs, community events, and other outreach activities.Investigate available funding opportunities to support ongoing Community Resource Center services.Serve as a liaison to community-based organizations and other community partners.Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and community meetings as assigned.Submit success stories to the Senior Vice President of Mission and Development and the Director of Employment Services at least once per quarter.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Interdisciplinary Studies, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience working with disadvantaged or disabled individuals or directly related experience.Knowledge of the history, philosophy, purpose, function, and scope of training and community-based employment programs.Knowledge of active listening, conflict resolution, and counseling techniques.Knowledge of local labor market conditions and employer requirements.Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals served, family members, employers, and community-based agencies.Ability to teach work skills training, provide instruction, and deliver follow-up services.Ability to accurately document case management notes and prepare individual and family service action plans.Ability to provide leadership and ensure consistency and continuity of Community Resource Center operations.Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Ability to speak and write Spanish preferred.Strong computer skills for data collection, reporting, and record keeping.Valid Florida driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to operate a personal or company vehicle on a daily basis to visit community partner locations. Why Goodwill?Mission-driven nonprofit organizationCollaborative merchandising teamOpportunity to impact multiple store locations across Southwest Florida Benefits & PerksMedical, dental, vision insurance403(b) retirement planPaid time off (PTO) and paid holidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee discountsTuition Reimbursement
