About the Facility

A facility in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a locum tenens Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to assist with outpatient coverage on an ongoing basis beginning as soon as possible. The facility maintains established diagnostic capabilities and workflow management systems to support efficient case processing and timely diagnostic reporting. Candidates must be board certified and hold an active Georgia medical license to be considered for this assignment.

About the Clinician's Workday

The anatomic and clinical pathologist will provide diagnostic pathology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a one-week-per-month basis. The daily case volume is approximately 20 cases per day, with a focus on breast and GYN pathology; coverage of cytology cases would be a plus. Case types exclude brain, skin, and bone specimens, and neither grossing nor frozen sections are required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this locum tenens position.
