Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct, resident-centered nursing care.
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
  • Monitoring resident health, documenting observations, and responding to changes in condition.
  • Educating residents and families on care plans.
  • Ensuring rooms are ready for new admissions and participating in orientation.
