What You'll Work On

  • Develop and implement reliability strategies for equipment and systems

  • Define critical assets and prioritize reliability efforts based on risk and impact

  • Investigate equipment failures and production issues

  • Make recommendations and implement them based on RCA findings

  • Review maintenance activities to reduce unplanned downtime

  • Update maintenance programs based on recent trends and investigations

  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential issues

  • Trend MTBF and MTTR metrics to identify bad actors

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment design and operational procedures

  • Create documentation like CRs, FSIs, etc. to implement changes

  • Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve uptime, and enhance safety

  • Work with Project Engineering and Division to introduce new pieces of equipment

  • Assess risks associated with equipment failure and develop mitigation plans

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

  • Work with Engineering techs to train maintenance and on reliability best practices

  • Promote a culture of reliability across the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering

  • 2-4 years of experience in a regulated environment preferred

You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
